I’m too busy to even blog, even though life has been pretty much interestingly filled.
Lit lectures are fun, if a little overwhelming. English is friendly hasn’t yet hit the stage where I feel compelled to hang onto the lecture’s every word. Like Brandon says, it has a very
Introductory feel to it.
I sleep through econs, or to be precise spend a large part of it doodling with kath on notepaper. Its just as well the lecture sequences correspond to the work I’m doing with this guy I’m giving econs tuition to. Otherwise I’d get no economics 1101E into my head whatsoever.
USP modules are challenging to say the least. In one we tear apart Darwin and use such words as
- visual imagery
- analogy and symbolism
- metaphorical writing
and last but not least,
- the Great Tree of Life.
Intruiging stuff. However I have an essay due in something like a week and I have zilch idea how to write it. I’m having a hard time figuring out
what I’m supposed to write about. I don’t want to be the
nth person turning in something about the Great Tree Of Life. to quote Andrew Leng…”I wood not do it.”
And all this amidst night after late night spent in someone’s room or another,
talking. Amusingly, that’s what I seem to have spent the majority of my free post-midnight time doing, yakking to aileen or jae or sze han or some random permutation of the three. How nice and typically hostel-ish.
I have terribly panda-like eyebags.
And I want books!
